About

Since the 1980's Livewater Farm has been producing fresh agricultural products organically in Windham county. Settling in Westminster West Vermont in 1997, the farm expanded into an operating grass based dairy. Going through several phases of operations throughout the years, Livewater Farm has continually been an active dairy farm, producing fresh grass fed milk from our herd of mix breed normandy cows. In 2015, Livewater Dairy was established, to process milk produced on the farm and generate a market output for the dairy operation. October 2018 marked the completion of a 4 year transfer of the farm ownership to the next generation.

Livewater Farm and Dairy continues to be a family operation, milking a small dairy herd, selling raw milk to a strong population of supportive customers while also regularly processing our milk into fresh and aged cheeses, butter and ice cream. Additionally, we raise beef, pork and chicken, produce a variety of vegetables, fresh eggs, maple syrup and value added maple goods, and we offer a selection of canned goods, preserves and value added agricultural goods. A farmstand purveys our products as well as a wide selection of other local products year round. Local goods including, breads, vegetables, coffees and teas, herbs, honey, tonics and more can be found Thursday - Monday at Livewater Farm.
